About the Role

Deployment & Integration Engineer (all genders)
  • System & Solution Integration:

    Implementation and commissioning of complex IT and communications solutions (on-premises/hybrid), including project-specific customizations, FAT/SAT acceptance testing, and testing
  • Communications & VoIP:
    Strong understanding of VoIP/SIP, as well as analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting (SIP/RTP); Experience with SBCs and the integration of IP telephony and wireless communication
  • Network & Security:
    Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and DMZ; Cisco experience is a plus
  • Servers, Virtualization & Platforms:
    Experience with Windows and Linux as well as virtualization (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V); basic understanding of HA, monitoring, logging, and backup concepts
  • Containers & Cloud:
    Knowledge of Docker as well as fundamentals of Kubernetes/OpenShift and integration of container-based services
  • Automation:
    Experience with Ansible or similar tools as well as fundamentals of Infrastructure as Code
  • Project & Interface Work:
    Technical interface between customers and internal teams, including analysis and translation of requirements as well as documentation (Confluence/Jira)
  • You have a technical qualification with a focus on IT or telecommunications (HTL/FH/TU degree)
  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in systems engineering, network technology or systems administration
  • Excellent knowledge of networks and IT infrastructure (focus on Windows Server, virtualisation, monitoring, Ansible, Cisco network components) as well as fault analysis using Wireshark and log files
  • Experience with VoIP technologies such as SIP and RTP
  • Travel requirements of approximately 15–20% per year
  • Good command of English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
