We're partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing technology company on an exciting journey of expansion and innovation. Following a recent acquisition, they're looking for an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to join the Finance team and play a key role in integrating financial operations, optimizing processes, and supporting ongoing growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead accounting integration efforts related to the recent acquisition, including alignment of systems, processes, and controls
  • Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payments and proper classification
  • Manage the month-end close process for prepaids and miscellaneous accruals, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and IT to streamline financial reporting and support business needs
  • Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with the preparation of documentation for audits
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and scalability of the accounting function
  • Support special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and corporate management
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with post-acquisition integration or managing change in a growth-oriented environment is a strong plus
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 20%


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $120,000–$135,000
  • This role is also eligible for various benefits, including: Medical Insurance


Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
