About the Role

Experience: 5 - 8 years in CSR/Development Sector Job Purpose: The Lead - CSR will drive the development and execution of KSB Ltd.'s CSR strategy, ensuring meaningful community engagement and long-term social impact. This role will also involve managing the Social aspect of ESG reporting and coordinating CSR efforts across KSB's manufacturing plants in various locations. Key Responsibilities: CSR Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute CSR strategies aligned with KSB’s values and objectives. Lead community development initiatives in areas such as education, health, environment, and livelihoods. Partner with external stakeholders (NGOs, government bodies) to implement impactful CSR projects. Engage employees in CSR activities and foster a culture of social responsibility. CSR Budget Allocation and Utilization: Allocate and manage the annual CSR budget in accordance with the company's financial planning and compliance. Ensure optimal utilization of resources, monitoring expenditure and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Track and report on the financial performance of CSR initiatives, providing regular updates to management. Coordination Across Manufacturing Plants: Coordinate CSR initiatives across KSB's 7 manufacturing plants: Pimpri & Chinchwad (Pune), Sinnar (Nashik), Shirwal (Satara), Vambori (Ahmednagar), Coimbatore, and Thrissur. Ensure alignment of CSR programs at each plant with the overall corporate strategy. Facilitate communication between plant heads and local CSR teams to drive consistency and effectiveness of CSR activities. Project Management: Oversee the execution of CSR programs, ensuring timely completion and impact measurement. Conduct regular need assessments and impact analysis to refine project outcomes. Prepare detailed reports on CSR initiatives for senior management and other stakeholders. Social Element of ESG Reporting: Collect and report on social metrics (e.g., community engagement, employee welfare, diversity) as part of ESG disclosures. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency in the social aspect of ESG reporting. Support the preparation of ESG reports focusing on the company’s contributions to social sustainability. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with community partners, NGOs, and government agencies to advance CSR goals. Represent KSB Ltd. at CSR-related forums and conferences. Compliance and Governance: Ensure all CSR activities are in compliance with legal requirements under the Companies Act, 2013. Develop policies and guidelines to govern CSR practices in line with corporate standards. Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in data analysis, impact assessment, and preparing detailed reports. Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex challenges and provide innovative solutions in CSR and ESG contexts. Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy in budget management, reporting, and project implementation. Passion for Social Impact: Committed to driving meaningful change through CSR initiatives and contributing to social sustainability. Required Qualifications & Skills: Post-Graduate degree in Social Work, Labour Studies, Development Studies, or related fields. 3-5 years of experience in CSR or the development sector. Knowledge of ESG reporting with a focus on social impact. Strong project management skills. Proficiency in managing CSR budgets and ensuring resource efficiency. Experience coordinating CSR activities across multiple locations is preferred.
