Local Team Collaboration:

  • We take pride in our well-established team at Texas Health Plano
  • At Texas Health Plano, our strong collaborative team includes board certified critical care physicians and acute care trained advanced practice providers

Qualifications:

  • Board certified acute care trained Physician Assistant with unrestricted license
  • Prior ICU APP practice time – minimum of 3-years post training practice
  • Active Texas license
  • Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, arterial lines
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Scheduling:

  • PRN- No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on the program need

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical / surgical /cardiac / neuro ICU patients
  • Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team
  • Commit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patients
  • Must provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tubes
  • EMR is Epic
