<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong><br />We are working with a well-established and growing M&E contractor who are looking to appoint a <strong>Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager</strong> to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a <strong>pre-construction or estimating background</strong> who is looking to step into a more strategic, client-facing role.</p>
<p>You’ll play a key part in securing and shaping projects from early engagement through to handover to delivery teams, working across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.</p>
</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />As a Mechanical Pre-Construction Manager, you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the mechanical pre-construction process from tender through to project award</li>
<li>Manage and coordinate tender submissions, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy</li>
<li>Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements</li>
<li>Work closely with estimators, design teams, and supply chain partners</li>
<li>Attend client meetings and contribute to bid strategy and value engineering</li>
<li>Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving solutions</li>
<li>Support the transition from pre-construction to project delivery</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong><br />We’re open to a range of backgrounds, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Mechanical Estimators</li>
<li>Senior Estimators</li>
<li>Pre-Construction Engineers or Managers</li>
<li>Design & Build / Bid professionals within M&E</li>
</ul>
<p>You’ll ideally have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience within mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, etc.)</li>
<li>A strong understanding of pre-construction / tendering processes</li>
<li>Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret technical information</li>
<li>Good communication skills and confidence working with clients</li>
<li>A proactive and collaborative approach</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p>

<li>Total salary £63,000 – £85,000</li>
<li>Base salary £55,000 – £65,000</li>
<li>Bonus £7,000 – £20,000 depending on gross profit</li>
<li>Office-based</li>
<li>20 days holiday increasing to 25 days with service</li>
<li>Clear progression into senior pre-construction or leadership roles</li>
