Be a part of it.</p> <p>We are looking for confident d/Deaf Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care.</p> <p>You’ll be working a full time contract (37.5 hours per week) with 12 hour shifts across both days, nights &amp; Weekends at Cygnet Hospital Bury Dunes.</p> <p>Your role will be working with male/female service users on one of our high priority Adult wards working with learning disability, autism and various mental health issues.</p> <p><b>This role requires native British Sign Language usage or a minimum Signature Level 2 as it is a deaf service.</b></p> <p>Successful applicants would be required to attend a 3 week full time induction at the start of employment (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm).</p> <p>Cygnet Bury Dunes provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and emergency admission services.</p> <p>Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.</p> <p>Your Day-to-Day…<br /> • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients &amp; residents<br /> • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical &amp; emotional support<br /> • Learn about individuals’ specific needs &amp; provide help in the most appropriate way<br /> • Assist with medical &amp; welfare needs and report as required<br /> • Safeguard<br /> • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all</p> <p>You are…<br /> • Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives<br /> • An excellent communicator and a good team player<br /> • Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating &amp; varied environment<br /> • Helping to empower &amp; support service user independence.</p> <p>Why Cygnet?
