Flexible placement options

We aim to tailor your experience to match your career and learning goals.

Placements typically last 1 or 2 weeks, but if you’re interested in a longer placement, ask us and we’ll see what we can do.

We can look into arranging a short shadowing opportunity, or a remote meeting with a Council Officer from the service area you’re interested in.

How to apply

Due to high demand, we ask that you submit your application at least 8 weeks in advance. This gives us and your potential team, time to make arrangements.

• students aged 14 and above, including college and university
• adults looking to explore new career paths or return to work
