Job Title: Recovery Specialist - Case Management - Travel
Location: Tewksbury, MA
Pay: $1,184.40 per week
Shifts: 8a-4:30p, Sun-Thurs

Key Responsibilities of the Recovery Specialist - Case Management
- Maintain individual case load with intake evaluations, treatment, aftercare planning, and medication management support
- Complete documentation in a timely manner as per regulations
- Coordinate with collaterals and referral sources
- Assist in retrieving patient medications from local pharmacies
- Support staff in milieu management, de-escalation, and crisis management
- Coordinate and support transportation needs for appointments and aftercare
- Maintain Virtual Gateway access and complete assessments as required
- Engage in unit searches and identifying potential contraband
- Assess patients' continuing care needs for appropriate programming transfer
- Share responsibility for education and group programming
- Participate in staff meetings and supervisory sessions
- Provide information to family members for self-help when possible
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements of the Recovery Specialist - Case Management
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) or equivalent; or Associate's degree in Human Services field preferred
- Two to three years related experience and/or training in chemical dependency
- Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) preferred
- Complete on-site CPI and CPR training/certification
