<p>Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a high‑growth, publicly traded technology organization to identify a <strong>Director of Global Payroll</strong>. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to build and lead the global payroll function as the company continues to scale.</p>
<p>The organization supports approximately 1,500 employees globally and is currently implementing Workday. This role is ideal for a senior‑level global payroll leader with a build‑from‑scratch mindset who can operate both strategically and hands‑on in a fast‑moving environment.</p>

<h4><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Build, design, and lead the global payroll function across multiple jurisdictions</li>
<li>Oversee global payroll operations, controls, and compliance</li>
<li>Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and IT</li>
<li>Lead and support the Workday payroll implementation</li>
<li>Develop scalable processes and infrastructure to support rapid growth</li>
<li>Establish and grow the payroll team and external vendor relationships</li>
<li>Move beyond processing to create a best‑in‑class global payroll operation</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Ideal Background</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Deep experience leading global payroll in a complex or high‑growth environment</li>
<li>Proven ability to build payroll functions rather than inherit them</li>
<li>Strong understanding of global payroll compliance and governance</li>
<li>Experience with Workday payroll strongly preferred</li>
<li>Comfortable in a startup‑style, fast‑paced setting</li>

<h4><strong>Compensation</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Base salary around $175,000, with flexibility for the right candidate</li>
<li>Bonus and equity participation included</li>
