Functie

As Business Controller, you will act as a strategic finance partner to the operations and management teams, providing financial insights that drive performance, efficiency, and profitability. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and decision support within a fast-paced packaging and manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on and analytical finance professional with experience in production-driven businesses and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting processes.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, productivity, and operational KPIs.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business and operational decision-making.
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare variance analyses and explain financial results versus budget and forecast.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales teams to improve profitability.
• Support business cases, investment evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and contribute to the development of management reporting and dashboards.

Profiel

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering.
• Experience within manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, industrial, or production environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance.
• Experience working with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
