About the Role

Home Careers at Analysys Mason Our international places to work Bonn SEARCH JOBS The Bonn office Our work Benefits Office culture Join the team The Bonn office Office history Analysys Mason acquired Allolio&Konrad Consulting GmbH in April 2020, but Allolio&Konrad Partnerschaft was originally founded in 2003. We have mainly focused on consulting projects for the telecoms industry, but have expanded our remit into the utilities and finance sectors over the years. The company has grown consistently since 2003, from 5 members of staff to a 50-person business, and our team continues to grow. Allolio&Konrad Partnerschaft was acquired by Ericsson in December 2016 and traded under Allolio&Konrad Consulting GmbH. Analysys Mason GmbH became the new brand name for our German entity in July 2020. Meet the office head I began my career as a consultant in 2008 and became the head of the Bonn office at the beginning of 2025. What drives me every day is the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team – learning from one another, growing together and continuously evolving. Outside of work, I live with my wife and daughter near Berlin. We enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, which offers a refreshing contrast to the fast-paced workweek and provides the perfect setting to recharge over the weekend. Jan Greulich Why am I proud to be the head of the office? Our people are at the heart of our business, and we have a fantastic team who are talented, engaging and diverse. I am proud to lead a group who are curious, supportive and enjoy finding solutions for our customers. What am I looking for in a new hire? We are looking for individuals with strong problem-solving abilities, a curious mindset and a passion for learning. If you enjoy working collaboratively, thrive in a team environment and believe that having fun at work is just as important as delivering great results – you will fit right in. In our hybrid work set-up, being confident with digital collaboration tools and communicating clearly is essential to achieving the best outcomes for our clients. Mostly, we are looking for individuals who bring something valuable to our team that we can all appreciate and benefit from, as well as someone who appreciates our culture and can share our vision. Our clients trust us to run all major parts of their business-critical process and IT change programmes. We plan, manage and assure the roll-out of newly integrated billing, CRM, order management, product management and associated systems. Our work is frequently the critical building block in digitalisation transformations, post-merger integrations, system consolidations and cost reduction programmes. Ralf Rempe, Senior Consultant In my favorite project, I was part of a team at a global financial service provider that was responsible for the integration of different software and hardware products into the security architecture, and we successfully aligned business requirements with implemented IT security policies. Our team worked with a positive attitude towards a clear goal and had a great ’can do’ spirit. Furthermore, I gained profound insights into network architecture, cyber security, network security and other relevant security topics that are important for IT infrastructure in large enterprises. Ralf Rempe, Senior Consultant Clara Beutner, Director One of my favourite projects was the implementation of a project management software tool for a British client that works in a range of different countries. From gathering the business needs to choosing the right tool and finally seeing the implementation and configuration through, I was able to work with an amazing international team throughout the whole process. As project lead, I connected human needs to technical requirements and was part of the company’s journey towards changing their way of working. In my view, this is a great example of how new IT tools, when done right, can support the users and therefore generate real business value. Clara Beutner, Director Cristian Neacsu, Manager When I came back from paternity leave, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity opened up: I was offered a data forensics project in a customer relationship department. The task was simple on paper: please help us to find the gaps in the data structure and identify inactive accounts in our huge, organically grown industrial-sized databases for many millions of private and corporate clients. Sifting through code, digging out mismatches and repairing the data structure evoked fond memories of my time in the university labs! Cristian Neacsu, Manager My favourite project was setting up reporting for a senior customer. Firstly, we had to understand his requirements. Then we created a framework, defining the necessary input data and how we would collect and store it. Our aim was to maximise automation with the help of the most suitable reporting tool. From time to time, the report grew bigger than it was initially intended with a) more data and b) more topics. Therefore, we tried out new tools to improve our ability to manage the input data. The project led to us gaining a deep understanding of data manipulation, data frameworks and automation, and other topics, such as cyber security or programme and project steering. Stefanie Graf, Manager My favourite project – even though it was not the easiest – was building a steering model for one of our customers. Firstly, having to analyse what information was really needed and, even more importantly, what our customer’s leadership team wanted to see was hard work. Getting everyone to participate actively and productively was a challenge as well. However, making it work consistently in a process felt very rewarding. We deployed a lot of communication and conceptualisation skills, as well as some coding. Thus, it was a great task that demanded soft as well as hard skills. I enjoyed the challenge immensely. Katharina Kiefer, Manager One of my favorite projects was in the energy sector, where I worked with massive datasets to build dashboards and reports that directly supported decision-making and operational insights. It was incredibly rewarding to see how my work helped the company assess its current situation and make informed choices. The project came with a wide range of challenges – from technical hurdles to data quality issues – which I was able to solve creatively and independently. It perfectly combined analytical depth with real-world impact and showed me how consulting allows you to shape solutions that truly matter. Jan-Erik Dorsch, Senior Consultant One of the most exciting projects I have worked on was with a start-up in the fibre industry – a technology which was completely new to me. Our team had to learn quickly and adapt constantly, yet we still made a real difference by building most solutions from scratch. The atmosphere on site was special: a modern, buzzing office with on-site construction supervisors, energetic young talents and experienced leaders. During breaks I played table tennis matches with people from all three groups! The company was incredibly agile, and every day brought new challenges and learning. It was intense but deeply rewarding – I am proud of the impact we made together as a project team. Richard Restetzki, Consultant My favorite project so far, had me support company steering through data-based forecasting. I was able to use data handling skills from my PhD to acquire data and operate a forecasting tool developed and improved by my colleagues and myself. Based on the results of the forecast, actions to achieve it or improve on it were selected. The work was largely remote, though we met once or twice a month for two days in the client’s office. This was a nice mixture, making myself part of the team locally, but largely avoiding commuting and spending more time with my family.   Markus Burkhardt, Consultant Benefits Travel and client exposure We believe that we deliver the best value to our clients when working together in collaborative settings, both virtually and in clients’ offices. Our clients may work in a variety of environments (such as at home or in the office). This means that we expect our consultants to travel to clients’ offices when it is beneficial to the project and the client. Therefore, the extent of travel may vary from week to week. We do not have fixed office days in our office in Bonn and we allow for mobile working from home or any other sensible location. Therefore, you can choose your place of residence within Europe, but it is helpful to choose a location with good public transport connections to ease the commute to the client. Our onboarding philosophy is best summarised as ”training on the job”. We believe that this enables the steepest learning curve. From the first day onwards, it is important that you take on responsibility, which will grow naturally over time. Immediate client exposure is part of the deal. Benefits Flexible working Birthday off work Volunteering days Wellbeing initiatives (including access to the Calm app) Home-working equipment fund Stock option plan 30 days of vacation Smartphone and laptop Sabbatical arrangements Home internet allowance Training/coaching Team events Office socials Office culture Office dynamics and culture - Bonn Office dynamics and culture Our culture is customer-centric. At the same time, we are aware of the wishes, interests and personal circumstances of our team members and accommodate those as best as we can. We avoid disturbing our team members on their well-deserved holidays. We do not expect our staff to be available 24/7, preferring instead to give you time to recharge. The dress code in the office is casual. When visiting client offices, the dress code depends on the client’s rules. Your project team will provide you with the necessary information before you start. Joint team activities span from lunch breaks to after-work drinks and joint sport activities at the different project locations. We also aim to bring the whole team together at least four times per year to allow for cross-account exchange. Interview tips Mary Wack, Manager A website can only tell you so much about a job; ask your interviewers to describe the day-to-day of their projects to get a better idea of what working at Analysys Mason is all about. Never assume the worst during a case study; take a deep breath, stay positive and think through your explanations. Be clear about what you are looking for in your role; consultants at Analysys Mason work on a diverse range of projects and it gives your interviewers an idea of where you might fit. Mary Wack, Manager Theresa Esch, Manager Do not hesitate to ask questions. We will take the time and are open for all your questions. Theresa Esch, Manager Oscar Werner, Partner We are just as curious to meet you and are very eager to hear your questions about us and our team. Do not hesitate to ask! Oscar Birnbreier, Partner Clara Beutner, Director Prepare and ask questions! A good fit has to make both sides happy, so the interview is as much about us getting to know you as about you getting to know us. Be yourself. We are looking for bright individuals and characters. Clara Beutner, Director Cristian Neacsu, Manager Please prepare. We do read all your documents, so you should return the favour. Relax! Explain your answers: if you get asked “what is 2+2?” do not just say “4”. Write it down and describe your approach. Please be consistent and stay true to yourself. You would be amazed how unconventional our team really is. Cristian Neacsu, Manager Don't treat an interview as an exam but think of it as a negotiation of a business arrangement: honestly present what you have to offer and listen carefully to what the employer offers. It will allow both sides to make an informed decision about whether what is on offer suits them. Andrey Fadeev, Senior Consultant Be yourself and be confident. Do not shy away from being assertive or from trusting yourself and your ideas. Ideally, your interview would showcase your skills in dealing with a client. Finally, the best confidence boost is thorough preparation. Jamal El Kuweiss, Consultant Show yourself the way you are in order to build a connection. Companies are hiring humans, not machines – flaws are okay as long as you deal with them appropriately. Finally, do not get stressed and trust your instincts! Richard Restetzki, Consultant Try your best and do not be afraid to learn even during the interview. To listen, analyse, understand and implement are key parts of a consultant’s work. Markus Burkhardt, Consultant Think of interviews as a two-way street. Ask thoughtful questions not just to impress, but to discover if this is the right place for you. It is your chance to peek behind the curtain and understand the culture, the work and the people. Curiosity shows confidence and helps you make an informed choice. Sophia Martin, Senior Consultant Internships Internships are available for students of computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, business, economics or a similar subject that want to get out in the field while studying. We offer internship positions with a minimal duration of 6 weeks during the year. Internships are a valuable learning opportunity for you, and it is our responsibility to find challenging tasks and provide realistic insights into the life of a Management Consultant. Many of our former interns returned after graduation and are now valuable team members. We are looking forward to your application. View job listing
