<p><strong>Veterinary Surgeon – Maidstone, Kent – Salary up to £60,000</strong></p>
<p>A well-established small animal practice group in Kent is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, working across two nearby sites in the Maidstone area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering variety, clinical autonomy, and the chance to work with experienced nursing teams and a loyal client base.</p>
<p>The role suits a vet who enjoys a mixed caseload, values collaboration, and is comfortable working across more than one practice setting.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Full-time position working a four-day week</p>
<li>
<p>One in six weekends</p>
<li>
<p>No out-of-hours</p>
<li>
<p>First-opinion small animal caseload with a good mix of consults and surgery</p>
<li>
<p>Opportunity to work across two established practices within the same local area</p>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Deliver high-quality clinical care in both consults and surgery</p>
<li>
<p>Build strong, long-term relationships with clients</p>
<li>
<p>Develop and discuss tailored treatment plans</p>
<li>
<p>Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support teams</p>
<li>
<p>Contribute positively to team culture and clinical standards</p>
</ul>
<p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon</p>
<li>
<p>Confident in routine first-opinion work</p>
<li>
<p>Comfortable working across two sites</p>
<li>
<p>Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach</p>
<li>
<p>Experience preferred, with scope for leadership and development</p>

<p><strong>Salary and Benefits</strong></p>

<p>Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience</p>

<p>5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service</p>
