This department is key to the successful execution of offshore operations across diverse global locations, contributing to major energy and infrastructure developments.

Offshore Wind Projects

The Offshore Wind Pool at Van Oord is at the forefront of driving the global transition to renewable energy. Focused on the preparation, supply, and execution of offshore wind farm projects, this department plays a key role in foundation installation, cable installation, and heavy lifting operations across diverse locations.

My traineeship at Van Oord was an incredible experience. In just 18 months, I worked on dredging projects in Abu Dhabi and Trinidad and Tobago, but I also spent time with the project office support team at the headquarters in Rotterdam. I learned a lot during this time, both professionally and personally. I got to experience different cultures and meet many people, both on the projects and at the offices in Gorinchem and Rotterdam. This traineeship was a very nice way to start my career at Van Oord.
