This position oversees user access management, security permissions, and identity lifecycle activities within the organization’s IT infrastructure. Operating at an intermediate to senior level, the role ensures appropriate access controls are maintained across cloud and on-premises systems, supporting security compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background and attention to detail to support identity environments and safeguard organizational data.
Responsibilities
Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access rights across cloud and on-premises systems
Maintain and administer security groups, role-based permissions, and access policies
Oversee identity lifecycle management for Azure Active Directory/Entra ID and Active Directory
Conduct access reviews, audits, and compliance checks to ensure security standards are met
Support Microsoft 365 and Teams administration and monitor hybrid identity synchronization processes
Maintain detailed documentation for access procedures, standards, and policies
Assist with system migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects involving identity services
Investigate and resolve access-related issues, incidents, and potential security concerns
Support physical access badge administration (if applicable) and physical security measures
Collaborate with security teams to ensure policies align with least-privilege principles and zero trust frameworks
Qualifications
Experience administering Azure Active Directory/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments
Working knowledge of Active Directory (on-premises) and hybrid cloud identity management
Strong understanding of identity management principles and access governance
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively
Familiarity with security permissions, group policy, and zero trust security models (preferred)
Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and system migrations (preferred)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Eligibility to work in the specified location and available for on-site work
Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 – $36.00 Hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
