BU CAE Engineer Applying CAE methods Advising and assisting the development teams in designing and configuring products that meet the technical requirements Generating, assessing, presenting and discussing results (both internally and on site at customers) Leading CAE-related development projects Organising (tendering, supplier pre-selection, timing, simulation boundary conditions) and presenting the results of external simulation services Providing expert, methodological support and training to staff inside and outside Germany Coordinating and defining all boundary conditions required to achieve the targets, such as geometry, timing, load cases, simplification, material data and simulation model selection Independently validating and optimising the simulation models based on test results, incl. the associated evaluations Supervising experimental tests (commissioned internally and externally) for supplying data for and validating the simulation models, focussing on the planning, performance and evaluation of the tests Developing numerical methods and simulation models
