<p><strong>Textile Operatives - Spinner & Twister</strong></p><p><strong>Pay</strong>: £12.71p/h</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Mon - Thurs 6am - 4pm and Fri 6am - 12pm or 2pm depending on your preference.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Huddersfield, West Yorkshire</p><p><strong>Duration: </strong><strong>12 week, </strong><strong>Temporary - Permanent </strong></p><p>Enjoy a physical role working both independently and as part of a team? This could be the ideal opportunity for you. Stafflex are recruiting on behalf of a well-established textile business supplying high-quality yarns across a range of manufacturing markets. We are now seeking Textile Operatives (Spinner & Twister) to join their production team.</p><p><strong>Spinner (Mule Spinning)</strong></p><ul><li>Operating mule spinning machinery to produce high-quality yarn</li><li>Monitoring machine performance throughout production runs</li><li>Piecing up and repairing breaks in yarn as required</li><li>Ensuring consistent yarn quality in line with production standards</li><li>Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults or issues</li><li>Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working area</li><li>Working to production targets while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul><p><strong>Twister</strong></p><ul><li>Operating twisting machinery to combine and strengthen yarn products</li><li>Feeding, loading and removing yarn packages from machines</li><li>Inspecting yarn quality and identifying any defects</li><li>Carrying out minor adjustments to machinery where required</li><li>Handling yarn with care to avoid damage or contamination</li><li>Maintaining accurate production records where needed</li><li>Working efficiently as part of a busy production team</li></ul><p><strong>Essentials Competencies:</strong></p><ul><li>Some previous experience or basic understanding of textile manufacturing is desirable</li><li>Good attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality output</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and production processes accurately</li><li>Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on production environment</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain good attendance</li><li>Able to work independently as well as part of a team</li><li>Good level of concentration for repetitive but skilled tasks</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">What Next?! </span></strong></p><p>Please <strong>apply with your CV now</strong> or for more information please call our Industrial Team on 01484 351010 (opt 1).</p>
