SEND Teaching Assistant Preston

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant ,  who is looking for a Long term role, in a Primary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

• Implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Work closely with SENCO and teachers
• Support emotional and behavioural needs
• Assist with differentiated learning activities
• Adapt resources to meet individual needs
• Encourage independence and confidence
• Monitor progress and maintain records
• Support inclusion within the classroom
• Provide one-to-one and small group support

Pre-requisites:

• UK school experience essential
• Proven SEND experience required
• Patience and adaptability
• Understanding of EHCPs
