Job Title: MRI Technologist - Pediatric

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $3,133.20 per week

Shifts: Mon-Fri 1p-9:30p, with some flexibility

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist specializing in pediatric care to join their team in Rochester, NY. This travel assignment requires expertise in magnetic resonance imaging within a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Adhere to all MRI safety policies and guidelines
• Adjust scanning parameters to accommodate a variety of patient ages
• Identify contraindications for safe scanning
• Independently determine when a scan must be stopped due to motion and sedation/anesthesia is needed

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• Two (2) Years' Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• 6 months of pediatric experience
• ARRT certification
• NYS Rad Tech License (must obtain prior to start if not already held)
