Industrial Electrician's Mate / Electrical Mate / Electrical Improver - Water TreatmentLocation: Bristol, South West (commutable from Bath, Filton, Avonmouth, Portishead, Newport, Gloucester, Swindon) Rate: £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Up to 50 hours per week + overtime Job Type: Contract (Long-Term - Up to 5 Years)Are you an experienced Electrician's Mate or Electrical Improver looking for long-term industrial work locally to Bristol?We are recruiting Industrial Electrician's Mates / Electrical Improvers to support installation and maintenance works at a busy water treatment plant.This is a long-term contract opportunity offering consistent hours, overtime and work secured for up to 5 years.This role is ideal for improvers with industrial site experience who want stable work on a major infrastructure project.The Role - Electrical Mate / Electrical Improver (Contract)You will be supporting Industrial Electricians with installation and maintenance across plant equipment in a live utilities environment.Duties include:Assisting with installation of containment (tray, ladder rack, trunking)Pulling and routing SWA and control cablingGlanding and terminating cables (under supervision where required)Assisting with installation of motors, pumps and control panelsSupporting testing and commissioning activitiesMaintaining safe working standards on a live industrial siteThis is industrial electrical work within a water treatment environment - not domestic or commercial.RequirementsTo be considered, you must have:ECS Card (essential)Proven experience as an Electrician's Mate or Electrical ImproverExperience on industrial or construction sitesAbility to read basic electrical drawingsStrong understanding of containment and cablingFull UK driving licence preferredDesirable:Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical qualification18th Edition (beneficial)Previous water treatment, utilities or heavy industrial experienceApplicants must have previous site experience.
