Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will work hands-on on the shopfloor to improve machine reliability, reduce technical downtime, and optimize production performance.
You will play a key role in driving preventive maintenance improvements, solving recurring technical issues, and implementing sustainable reliability initiatives. Working closely with Operations and Performance Excellence teams, you will help strengthen maintenance processes and improve OEE across the production environment.

Responsibilities:
•    Reduce technically caused unplanned downtime across production lines. 
•    Improve and optimize preventive maintenance strategies and maintenance execution. 
•    Analyze equipment reliability and identify opportunities for performance improvement. 
•    Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related machine faults. 
•    Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) to identify recurring failures and implement sustainable corrective actions. 
•    Strengthen Tier 1 problem-solving methodologies within maintenance teams. 
•    Coach maintenance technicians and technical operators on troubleshooting and reliability best practices. 
•    Support Tier 2 performance meetings with technical analysis and improvement recommendations. 
•    Analyze OEE losses from both technical and operational perspectives. 
•    Identify hidden production losses and translate findings into targeted improvement plans. 
•    Lead and implement improvement initiatives related to machinery, technical setups, production processes, and operational workflows. 
•    Collaborate closely with Operations and Performance Excellence teams to improve cross-functional teamwork and sustainable performance improvements. 
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence. 

Requirements:
•    Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or Maintenance & Reliability Engineer within a manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG). 
•    Strong experience with: 
o    OEE improvement 
o    Root Cause Analysis (RCA) 
o    Preventive maintenance 
o    Downtime reduction 
o    Reliability improvement 
•    Proven ability to identify production losses and implement sustainable technical solutions. 
•    Hands-on, practical, and shopfloor-oriented mindset. 
•    Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities within production environments. 
•    Experience coaching technicians and collaborating with operations teams. 
•    Solid understanding of maintenance methodologies, technical frameworks, and continuous improvement principles. 
•    Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments. 
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
•    Change management experience and ability to drive improvement programs effectively. 
•    Able to work independently and quickly adapt with minimal onboarding.
