KS1 Teacher Diss

About the role:

Justteachers are currently recruiting, on behalf of one of our partner primary schools in Diss, for a Y1 Class Teacher. This role is due to commence September 2026 and expected to last until July 2027.

The school are a vibrant primary school, located in the heart of Diss, part of a multi-academy trust. The school offer continuous development to their staff and pride themselves on being an inclusive primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with KS1 curriculum
• Working well with your job-share teacher to ensure the best outcomes for your students
• Creative a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Ensuring assessment is up to date for all students
• Following the school’s behaviour management policy

Pre-requisites:

• QTS or relevant UK teaching qualification
• Recent UK experience teaching in KS1
• Strong classroom management
• Ability to provide two education or school based references
• A commitment to safeguarding and providing a safe learning environment
