<p><strong>Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time – West Yorkshire, UK</strong></p> <p>A friendly, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in <strong>West Yorkshire</strong> is looking to welcome a <strong>part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon</strong> to its close-knit and experienced team. This is a great opportunity for a vet seeking a well-balanced role within a long-established community practice.</p> <h3>The Practice</h3> <p>This practice has been established for over 20 years and has built strong, long-term relationships with clients and patients in the local area. The team prides itself on delivering high-quality veterinary care in a compassionate, welcoming environment.</p> <p>The practice team consists of 8 vets, 9 nurses and a dedicated client care team, all working collaboratively to create a positive and enjoyable workplace. CPD is actively encouraged, and the practice has recently received excellent feedback through its employee engagement survey.</p> <h3>The Role</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon</p> <li> <p>Average <strong>20 hours per week</strong>, worked across <strong>3 days</strong></p> <li> <p><strong>1 in 6 weekends</strong></p> <li> <p>Salary <strong>commensurate with experience</strong></p> </ul> <p>This role would suit a caring and confident vet who enjoys building strong client relationships and is comfortable with small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery.</p> <h3>Location</h3> <p>Based just outside <strong>Wakefield</strong> and approximately <strong>12 miles from Leeds</strong>, the practice offers easy access to city amenities including restaurants, theatres and shopping, while also being close to open countryside.
