About the Role
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Looked After Children (LAC) Team with Southend-on-Sea City Council.
Job Title: Qualified Social Worker (QSW) for LAC Team
Location: Southend-on-Sea City Council, Victoria Ave, Southend-on-Sea SS2 6ER
Pay Rate: £38.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a case load of 12-15 Looked After Children.
Provide high-quality social work services for children in care, ensuring they receive the support they need.
Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, attending relevant meetings and contributing to the development of care plans.
Maintain detailed and accurate case records in line with council policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria:
Must be currently working in LAC.
Case load: 12-15 children.
Candidates must live within the Essex borders.
Must be able to drive and have access to a car.
Minimum 2-3 days on-site depending on team needs.

Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
