About the Role

ICP Worker - Integrated Front Door (IFD)North East Lincolnshire Office Based - 5 Days per Week North East Lincolnshire Council is looking for an ICP Worker to join their Initial Contact Point (ICP) within the Integrated Front Door (IFD) service. This is a key role at the very start of a child's journey with social care, where you will play an important part in ensuring children receive the right support at the right time. About the RoleAs an ICP Worker, you will: Take calls relating to children who are not open to Children's Social Care or Family Help Speak with members of the public and professionals who may have concerns Use a strengths-based approach to gather clear and accurate information Record information directly onto Liquidlogic during calls Identify whether the contact is a request for Family Help or presents safeguarding concerns Carry out multi-agency checks and further information gathering Analyse information and contribute to creating an appropriate support plan Escalate safeguarding concerns to a Social Worker and Practice Supervisor where required About YouWe are looking for someone who is: Calm and able to work under pressure Passionate about children's services Confident in handling sensitive and sometimes difficult conversations Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Curious and confident in asking clarifying questions A team player who understands the importance of their role at the start of a child's journey You will be joining a supportive and committed team that places children at the centre of decision-making and works collaboratively every day to achieve the best outcomes.
