Vehicle Examiner
Location: Oldham
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 4pm
Pay: £43,000 Per Annum

What you’ll be doing in your new Vehicle Examiner role:
- Carrying out thorough safety inspections and statutory vehicle examinations in line with DVSA standards
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Ensuring all maintenance and inspection records are completed accurately and meet compliance requirements
- Supporting MOT preparation and audit readiness across the depot
- Liaising with Technicians and Workshop leadership to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standard
- Monitoring fleet compliance and supporting continuous improvement in safety and reliability
- Promoting a strong safety culture across the depot, leading by example
What you’ll need for your new Vehicle Examiner role:
- A qualified technician with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in PSV, HGV, or automotive engineering
- Proven experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, or compliance roles (PSV/HGV preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DVSA standards and vehicle safety regulations
- High attention to detail with a proactive, safety-first mindset
- Confident in record-keeping and compliance documentation
- A team player with strong communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
