1/9/14 – CPA/Senior Accountant

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting a CPA/Senior Accountant for a client of ours in Raleigh, NC. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Responsibilities Oversee financial operations, to include: Accounts Payable and Cash Management Supervise the Accounting Operations Team Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the General Ledger and computer interfaces Lead the preparation for the annual audit Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business with a Concentration in Accounting 5+ years of Accounting experience preferably within a governmental organization or the financial industry CPA License 1+ years of Supervisory experience Knowledge of GAAP, Governmental Accounting Principles, and Revenue Bond Accounting Proficient in Automated Accounting systems; experience in system implementation is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, project planning, and decision-making skills
