Agricultural Plant & Vehicle Maintenance Engineer Blidworth | £28,000 – £37,000 per year (DOE) | Full-Time, Permanent Ambitions Personnel are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our growing client, who are looking to expand their busy in-house workshop team based at their head office on the industrial estate in Blidworth. Due to significant business growth over recent years, this is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company supporting a team of over 60 staff operating on-site daily. The Role Working within a fast-paced and sometimes challenging workshop environment, you will be responsible for: Maintenance and repair of agricultural plant and machinery including mowers, tractors, strimmers and chainsaws Servicing and maintaining a fleet of over 30 in-house vehicles Attending breakdowns and towing when required Supporting the wider team to ensure minimal downtime for operational staff This role would suit someone who is confident working both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to meet demanding timescales. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with: Agricultural plant & machinery experience NVQ or qualification in vehicle maintenance (preferred) Full, clean driving licence (towing capacity preferred) Welding experience (advantageous) At least 1 year’s vehicle maintenance experience (preferred) A proactive, “can-do” attitude Flexibility to work overtime when required Training will be provided; however, we are seeking someone who can hit the ground running.
