Morningstar is one of the largest independent sources of fund, equity, and credit data and research in the world, and our advocacy for investors’ interests is the foundation of our company.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><b><span style="font-size:inherit">The Role:</span></b><span style="font-size:inherit"> <br />The Managed Investment Data Team requires a Data Consultant to drive Morningstar data in the UK market. The employee will collaborate with all global and local teams. The Data Consultant is responsible for the relationships with asset managers and other actors of the industry, demonstrate our capabilities and quality, and return the voice of the local market to the global and central teams. The consultant is the main point of contact between our centralized data team and the asset managers. The position will be based in our office in London.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Responsibilities:</span></b></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Representing and explaining the Data workflows, processes and methodologies towards asset managers and clients.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Take ownership of acquiring and onboarding new and complex data sets as we keep expanding the quality of analytics delivered to clients.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Partner with product, sales & support teams on the prospect discovery process, the answer to RFP & lead generation and serving as the subject matter expert to help resolve client data questions.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Collaborate with members of the Data & Development Centers and global teams to align priorities based upon local business requirements.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Manage projects focused on enhancing our database in order to meet changes in our industry and client’s needs. This includes business analysis on market trends & regulatory changes & liaising with associations or working groups in order to design data collection plans & bring back the voice of the client.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Monitor competitor behavior, trends and services in order Morningstar are well placed to act on any opportunities that may arise.</span></span></span></p></li></ul><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit"> </span></span></span></p><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><b><span style="font-size:inherit">Requirements:</span></b><span style="font-size:inherit"> </span></span></span></p><ul><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Solid understanding of the local UK investment management industry and passionate about investment data. </span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills. </span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Expert on managed investments data points, processes, methodologies, calculations and different fund structures is a plus.</span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Previous experience in project management and relationship management role is highly preferred. </span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">Significant experience within a financial data role. </span></span></span></p></li><li><p><span style="color:#4a4a4a"><span><span style="font-size:inherit">A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. </span></span></span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Base Salary Compensation Range</b></h2>GBP 46,200.00-61,600.00<p><b>Bonus Target:</b></p>7.5% Annual<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p>We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range.
