Project Planner - Water SectorLocation: Remote, with visits to Peterborough every 2 weeks Rate: Up to £400 per day Start Date: May Duration: 12 month rolling contractWe're looking for an experienced Project Planner to support several major AMP8 water infrastructure programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative alliance delivering large-scale water and environmental projects as part of AMP8.You'll play a key role in driving programme performance, working closely with delivery teams to ensure projects are planned, monitored and delivered efficiently.The RoleAs Planner, you'll take ownership of project schedules, ensuring alignment with delivery objectives while identifying risks and opportunities early.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 and MSPEnsure plans reflect full scope, sequencing and resource allocationMonitor progress against programme, focusing on critical path and milestonesIdentify risks, delays and opportunities, driving mitigation strategiesWork closely with site, engineering and commercial teams to ensure programme accuracySupport reporting and provide clear programme updates to stakeholdersEnsure compliance with planning standards and HSE requirementsRequirementsProven experience as a Planner within construction, civil engineering or infrastructureStrong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP)Good understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecyclesAbility to interpret drawings and technical informationStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsApply NowIf you're a Freelance Planner available from April and experienced in P6/MSP within construction projects, apply today with your CV.
