About the Role

<p>We are looking for a Late Shift CNC Programmer in New Baltimore, MI who is skilled in CNC programming using Mastercam and has a strong background in precision machining. The ideal candidate will be reliable, a team player, and committed to long-term employment. Adaptability and the ability to work independently are essential qualities.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p>Creating CNC programs for various machines</p>
<p>Determining machining methods and tool sequences</p>
<p>Performing cycle time studies</p>
<p>Collaborating with quality department and machine operators to ensure part quality</p>
<p>Choosing cutting tools, speeds, and feeds</p>
<p>Programming complex parts from blueprints</p>
<p>Supporting machinists with setup, inspections, and troubleshooting</p>
<p>Developing tool sheets and setup instructions for each CNC program</p>
<p>Suggesting work holding and tooling as needed</p>
<p>Contributing to the enhancement of manufacturing processes by analyzing requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment</p>
<p>Assisting machine operators with process and tooling issues, proposing necessary work holding and tooling for production</p>
<p>Identifying and resolving process and tool-related challenges to improve productivity</p>
<p>Requirements:</p>
<p>Minimum of 10+ years of experience in CNC machining</p>
<p>Proficiency with Mastercam programming software</p>
<p>Ability to operate measuring instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers</p>
<p>Interpretation of blueprints</p>
<p>Familiarity with G&M programming codes</p>
<p>Knowledge of CAD software</p>
<p>Understanding of GD&T principles</p>
