Solution Architect
eCommerce (Azure)
Peterborough – Hybrid (2–3 days a week on site)​

You’ll own the end‑to‑end architecture of a high‑impact B2B2C eCommerce platform that supports customers, shaping a modern, secure and scalable Azure‑based solution.​

Key responsibilities

• Define and own a cloud‑native eCommerce architecture, ensuring performance, scalability and resilience.​

• Lead integration of payments (BACS, Faster Payments, vouchers), third‑party APIs and CRM/ERP systems.​

• Embed security and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, government‑level standards) across the platform.​

• Act as senior technical authority for stakeholders, driving the technology roadmap and continuous improvement.​

Key skills/requirements

• Robust experience in IT architecture, ideally in eCommerce.​

• Strong Azure cloud experience plus modern web tech (Blazor/.NET, React/Next.js) and API‑first design (REST/GraphQL).​

• Expertise in Headless Commerce/MACH or composable architecture.​

• Desirable: Energy, charity/not‑for‑profit or government digital services background; high‑compliance environments.​
