About the Role
Technical Delivery Manager Contract We're seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology and software development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing project governance, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects Coordinate multiple teams and workstreams to achieve delivery objectives Monitor project progress, risks, issues and dependencies Produce delivery reports and updates for stakeholders Facilitate planning, prioritisation and delivery activities Drive Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes Support resource planning, forecasting and delivery management activities Required Experience Proven experience delivering software development or digital transformation projects Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban Experience managing project governance, reporting, risks and dependencies Ability to work effectively with engineering, product and business teams Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Commercial awareness and experience managing delivery challenges in fast-paced environments Previous technical background in software development, engineering or technical leadership Experience working within technology consulting, professional services or software organisations Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps environments or modern software delivery practices Experience establishing project structures, delivery processes and team ways of working Please send across an updated CV if this position is of interest GCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
