About the Role

<p><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY:</u></strong></p> <p>The Company’s Electrophysiology (EP) division is seeking an Operations Excellence Manager / Industrial Engineering Manager to join the Gross Margin Transformation organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a newly established team, build and develop talent, and directly influence how EP manufacturing operations scale and perform.  The role is focused on recently launched and growing products, where continued improvement in manufacturing performance is critical to meeting rising customer demand while reducing operational costs. In addition to delivering near-term performance gains, this role will help define the operational excellence roadmap supporting future EP product launches.</p> <p><strong><u>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Build, lead, and develop a team of individual contributors focused on operational excellence and industrial engineering.</li> <li>Own aggressive performance targets, delivering ~50% improvement in line output for newly launched products, through cycle time reduction, line balancing, performance optimization, and waste elimination.</li> <li>Improve post-launch performance of scaling manufacturing lines using KPI-driven analysis (e.g., units per paid labor hour, throughput, yield).</li> <li>Lead deep technical analysis using time studies, constraint management, and throughput modeling.</li> <li>Influence Engineering, Operations, Value Stream, Process Development, R&amp;D, and Quality leaders using data and structured problem solving.</li> <li>Translate data into clear strategy, execution plans, and sustained results.</li> <li>Manage and facilitate continuous improvement projects in support of company objectives.</li> <li>Estimates and verifies financial benefits from continuous improvement projects.</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong><u>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree (± 16 years) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>Minimum 8 years of overall operations experience</li> <li>Proven track record delivering step-change line performance improvements with quantified results.</li> <li>Deep hands-on expertise in Lean, DMAIC, and Six Sigma methodologies. Black belt certification preferred but not required.</li> <li>Strong KPI-driven, data-centric problem-solving mindset.</li> <li>Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.</li> <li>Ability to organize and lead cross-functional teams and align team members to management&#8217;s vision.</li> <li>Willingness and ability to travel regularly in support of a multi-site role</li> <li>This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to effectively lead in a team environment, adaptable to change, able to manage competing priorities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a sense of business savvy.</li> <li>Requires the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced production environment. Solicits the cooperation of a diverse group of disciplines and functions in a tactful and persuasive manner.</li> </ul>
