Cable Technician

Contract 4-6 months +<br /> We are looking for a Network Technician to support an project updating/ swap-out of network switches and Wireless Access Points (WAPs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with switches and WAP hardware, using common handheld tools such as screwdrivers, voltage meters, cable tie tools, wire strippers, network testers, and RJ45 crimpers.<br /> This role will focus on physical replacement work only (no programming or configuration at this time), with<br /> additional responsibilities including cable management after equipment swaps.<br /> Responsibilities:<br /> •    Swapping out network switches and WAPs (Wireless Access Point) for school district.<br /> •    Exp with network switches and WAP.<br /> •    Use Handheld tools such as Screwdrivers, Voltage Meters, Cable Tie Tool, Wire Stripper,<br /> Network Tester, and RJ45 crimper<br /> •    Swapping switches and/or WAPS, out for new ones.<br /> •    Cable management may also need to be done after swap.<br /> Requirements:<br /> •    Requires lifting up to 25lbs, crouching, kneeling, and bending.<br /> •    US Citizen<br /> •    Pass drug test and background check prior to start.<br /> <br /> 1st and 2nd shift available <br />
