The Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role with real influence across financial control, reporting, and team development.
The business (well established and respected) offers a fast-paced, commercially driven environment with significant scope to shape and modernise the finance function.

The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of core financial operations while driving improvements across systems, processes, and controls.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading financial reporting and ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Strengthening financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
• Enhancing audit processes and external stakeholder engagement
• Improving treasury operations and cash flow forecasting
• Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
• Supporting a 4-week period-end reporting cycle
• Leading, developing, and motivating a finance team - 4 direct reports
