Engineering Labourer

<p>Job Description:</p> <p>We are looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join our client based in Normanton WF6 on a temp to perm basis.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist fabricators with general workshop duties</li> <li>Support operation of machinery including press brake (under supervision)</li> <li>Carry out sanding, drilling, and basic finishing tasks</li> <li>Move, load, and organise aluminium and steel materials around the workshop</li> <li>Prepare materials and components for fabrication</li> <li>Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment</li> <li>Assist with unloading deliveries and storing stock correctly</li> <li>Follow instructions to support efficient production flow</li> </ul> <p>Candidate Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience working within a fabrication department is essential</li> <li>Experience handling aluminium and steel materials is required</li> <li>Comfortable with manual, hands-on work in a workshop environment</li> <li>Good understanding of basic fabrication processes</li> <li>Reliable, punctual, and hardworking</li> <li>Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team</li> <li>Flexible with working hours and willing to undertake overtime when required</li> <li>Strong awareness of health and safety practices</li> <li>Ideally have done a similar role</li> <li>Happy to get stuck in to any task required</li> <li>Can work full time</li> </ul> <p>At Cogent Staffing, we are committed to ethical recruitment practices and fostering an inclusive workplace.
