About the Role

Senior Scientist, Immunology & Antibody Development

My biotech client actively seeks a Senior Scientist to join their antibody development group. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in antibody discovery and take a leadership role in experimental planning, target characterization, and sequence/structure analysis.

The ideal candidate will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead antibody development efforts using hybridoma technology and vaccine-based platforms.
  • Drive experimental planning and execution to characterize targets through sequence and structural analysis.
  • Design immunogens and develop immunization strategies in support of antibody development programs.
  • Apply protein biochemistry expertise to candidate evaluation and characterization.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment alongside senior scientific leadership.

This person will possess the following qualities:

  • Ph.D. in Immunology or a related discipline, plus 2+ years of relevant industry or academic laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience required — must be willing to work at the bench.
  • Demonstrated expertise in hybridoma technology, vaccine development, or related antibody development platforms.
  • Strong experimental planning and project leadership capabilities.
  • Candidates from both industry and academia will be considered.
  • Experience with protein biochemistry, molecular modeling, or vaccine design is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sequence and structure analysis in the context of antibody-antigen interactions is preferred.
