Our Lady of Angels Regional School is seeking a Middle School teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The Middle School Teacher is responsible for providing engaging instruction for students while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. The teacher fosters a positive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, personal responsibility, and respect for others.

Primary Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum

• Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning strategies into instruction
• Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records

Faith & Community Engagement

• Support and uphold the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
• Integrate Catholic values across the curriculum and classroom culture
• Participate in school Masses, prayer services, retreats, and faith-based activities
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and Christ-centered classroom environment

Collaboration & Professional Growth

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, administration, and parents
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
• Communicate effectively and consistently with families regarding student progress
• Serve as a homeroom teacher and/or moderator for student activities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Valid state teaching certification
• Prior middle school teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Completion of diocesan safe environment requirements (upon hire)
