<h3><strong>Senior Data Analyst</strong></h3><p><strong>Location:</strong> Warsaw or Łódź (Hybrid: 3 days/week in the office)</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> 110 - 130 per hour </p><p><strong>Type of work:</strong> B2B agreement</p><p><strong>Company:</strong> Our client is a global institution in the <strong>banking industry</strong>, partnering with us to expand their data and analytics capabilities.</p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a Senior<strong> Data Analyst</strong> to join an Agile team within the banking sector. In this role, you will be responsible for working with large data sets, shaping ETL flows, and ensuring top-tier data quality for regulatory reporting purposes.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Collect, analyze, harmonize, and validate large data sets across multiple source systems.</p></li><li><p>Design, document, and maintain data structures, data mappings, and ETL flows.</p></li><li><p>Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability to support regulatory reporting requirements.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements, ensuring formal sign-off.</p></li><li><p>Analyze financial and accounting data, including balance sheet structures and financial instruments.</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain metadata documentation, including data lineage, sources, assumptions, and reporting obligations.</p></li><li><p>Support the functional design of end-to-end data and reporting solutions, including controls and reconciliation processes.</p></li><li><p>Work with SQL databases (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL) to extract, transform, and analyze data.</p></li><li><p>Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and identify opportunities for process automation and innovation.</p></li><li><p>Manage tasks and collaborate within Agile teams using Jira.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5-10 years of relevant work history (Senior level).</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in working with large data sets and professional proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Ability to define and document data structures and ETL flows within and across applications.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of accounting and balance sheet structures, including various financial instruments.</p></li><li><p>Experience in documenting metadata (data origins, assumptions) to meet regulatory obligations.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills with the ability to drive discussions with business stakeholders and formalize requirements.</p></li><li><p>Skills in utilizing AI to make work efficient and introduce new use cases.</p></li><li><p>Working proficiency in JIRA.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Good understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and quality expectations (e.g., CRR, BCBS239).</p></li><li><p>Proven track record in creating reporting IT solutions with various technologies, databases, BI Tools, and calculation engines producing regulatory metrics.</p></li></ul>
