  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and onboard commissioning

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including I/O lists, functional descriptions, test procedures, and drawings

  • Coordinate and communicate with customers, shipyards, and internal teams to ensure technical alignment

  • Advise on design changes, identify optimization opportunities, and support project cost and quality control

  • Ensure compliance with both internal and customer-specific quality, safety, and cybersecurity standards

  • Support service teams with technical input during project execution and handover

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Software Engineering, ideally with focus on Automation or OT Systems

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marine or industrial automation engineering

  • Good understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and industrial communication protocols (e.g. MODBUS RTU/TCP, CANbus, IEC61162-1/-2/-450)

  • Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 programming languages and experience with tools such as EPLAN, SolidWorks, or similar

  • Knowledge of platform equipment functionality (pumps, valves, switchgear, etc.)

  • Strong communication and documentation skills in English and Danish (written and spoken)

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and comfortable working in cross-functional teams

  • Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive mindset with attention to detail

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

  • Must be eligible for NATO security clearance (background check required)
