<p><strong>The Role</strong><br />
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to step into leadership, or a Clinical Director seeking a new challenge. The role combines clinical work with practice leadership, offering the chance to shape clinical standards, develop the team, and drive the continued success of a well-established small animal practice.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p>
<p>Leading the clinical team and ensuring the highest standards of patient care</p>
<p>Driving practice growth, development, and performance</p>
<p>Supporting and mentoring colleagues to develop their clinical and leadership skills</p>
<p>Balancing clinical duties with leadership responsibilities</p>
<p>Engaging with clients to build lasting relationships and trust</p>
<p><strong>What’s Needed</strong></p>
<p>Proven experience in practice leadership and small animal clinical care</p>
<p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</p>
<p>Client-focused ethos with a drive for excellence in outcomes</p>
<p>Commitment to quality improvement, education, and team development</p>
<p><strong>Hours & Rota</strong></p>
<p>40-hour week across 4 days</p>
<p>1 in 4 Saturdays</p>
<p>No out-of-hours</p>
<p>Built-in administrative time and regular breaks</p>
<p><strong>Facilities & Support</strong></p>
<p>Modern facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, in-house lab (biochemistry, haematology, cytology)</p>
<p>Two fully equipped surgical theatres</p>
<p>Dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray</p>
<p>Separate dog and cat wards</p>
