Aspire People are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Coventry from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and practical learning experiences that inspire students to develop valuable life skills and a passion for food and nutrition.
The Role
* Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
* Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
* Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting.
* Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
* Is passionate about inspiring young people and raising achievement.
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although support can be provided to obtain one.
