About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Manager to oversee a large and diverse portfolio of Build to Rent (BTR) residential properties. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional operational performance, driving occupancy and revenue, and ensuring a best-in-class resident experience across multiple sites.

You will lead and support on-site teams, implement operational standards, and work closely with senior leadership to achieve business objectives while maintaining high levels of compliance and customer satisfaction.

 

Job Title: Regional Area Manager – Build to Rent

Location: London

Salary: up to £75,000 + Bonus

 

Key Responsibilities

    n
  • Portfolio Performance:
    Oversee the financial and operational performance of a large BTR portfolio, ensuring targets for occupancy, revenue, and NOI are consistently achieved or exceeded.

  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, mentor, and develop site teams including General Managers and Leasing staff, fostering a high-performance culture and strong employee engagement.

  • Operational Excellence:
    Implement and maintain consistent operational standards across all properties, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service quality

  • Resident Experience:
    Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring a high-quality resident journey from leasing through to renewal, driving retention and satisfaction.

  • Financial Management:
    Manage budgets, monitor P&L performance, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiencies.

  • Stakeholder Management:
    Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners, providing regular reporting and insights

  • Compliance & Risk:
    Ensure all properties comply with relevant legislation, health & safety standards, and company policies

  • New Developments & Mobilisation:
    Support the onboarding and stabilisation of new schemes, including pre-opening strategy and lease-up planning.

About You

    n
  • Proven experience in a multi-site or regional management role within residential, Build to Rent, or property management sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering financial results
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding resident experiences
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large portfolio
  • Strong knowledge of property operations, compliance, and leasing strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
