Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., is searching for a Foreman that will be based in our Caruthersville, MO plant. In this role, you will drive sustainable continuous improvements across the Marine Business Unit, delivering breakthrough results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and cost, while building cultural change throughout the organization. The Foreman works closely with each plants leadership and department employees to achieve results. This position requires strong technical lean manufacturing and hands-on leadership skills, along with a passion for operations excellence to be successful.
Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group is comprised of Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate and Supervise all Quality related procedures and processes
Ensure all Quality guidelines are followed during product manufacturing
Inspection of incoming raw material using appropriate testing procedures
Make visual/measured inspection/tests of manufactured products to ensure conformance with set standards.
May perform destructive or non-destructive tests to verify specified dimensions, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Perform Root Cause Analysis for non-conformance
Complete inspection records and reports
Follow all safety rules and guidelines
May participate or lead ARC 100 Safety Committee
Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Need:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial environment
Ability to schedule shop flow and execute plant goals
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to analyze and solve issues pertaining to quality, safety, and production
Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
Regular and predictable attendance. Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Computer skills and basic knowledge of MS Office products required.
