About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive HR & Payroll Administrator to join their established HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a varied role, taking ownership of key processes, and supporting employees across a busy organisation.<br><br> This position offers exposure to a broad range of HR activities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing payroll, employee support, recruitment, and HR administration responsibilities.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li>Prepare and submit monthly payroll information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll deadlines.</li></ul><ul><li>Support the management of absence processes, providing guidance and administrative support to managers where required.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate Occupational Health appointments and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective scheduling and follow-up.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with recruitment activities, including arranging interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting the onboarding process.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide administrative support in employee relations matters and maintain accurate case documentation.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure employee records and HR systems are kept up to date and compliant with company procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Respond to employee queries relating to payroll, benefits, policies, and general HR matters in a professional and timely manner.</li></ul><ul><li>Support the wider HR team with day-to-day administration and ongoing people initiatives.</li></ul><br><strong>About You</strong><br><ul><li>A sound understanding of HR practices and payroll processes.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.</li></ul><ul><li>Effective organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.</li></ul><ul><li>Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.</li></ul><ul><li>A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><br>Does this sound like a role for you?
