Location: West Europe Region: Overseas Salary: Fee will be dependent on the agreed duration of participation Vacancy type: Temporary Sectors: Senior Appointments, Training Placed by: Ex-Mil Recruitment We are seeking an experienced CIMIC professional to support the design and delivery of a CIMIC Analysis Course for a NATO-aligned audience. The instructor will contribute to course development and deliver training in line with current NATO CIMIC doctrine and best practice. Training delivery is planned for early May, either 1–5 May or 8–12 May, with prior support required for course design and preparation. Key Responsibilities •Support the design and development of CIMIC analysis course content and training materials •Deliver high-quality instruction on CIMIC analysis, planning, and integration within military operations •Apply NATO CIMIC doctrine and frameworks throughout course delivery •Facilitate syndicate work, discussions, and practical exercises •Provide subject matter expertise on civil environment analysis and CIMIC processes •Contribute to course evaluation and iterative improvement Required Experience & Qualifications •Significant and recent experience in CIMIC operations •Strong understanding of NATO CIMIC doctrine, tools, and planning processes •Experience working within joint or multinational environments •Ability to translate operational experience into structured training delivery •Previous instructional or training delivery experience (desirable but not essential) Desirable Background •Former military (Regular or Reserve), ideally within the SNCO to Lieutenant Colonel range •Experience in humanitarian, stabilisation, or development sectors •Prior involvement in CIMIC course design or delivery •Familiarity with NATO training standards and education methodologies Key Attributes •Strong communication and facilitation skills •Ability to engage mixed-experience audiences •Professional credibility and subject matter authority •Collaborative approach to course design and delivery Additional Information •Candidates must be available for both preparation and delivery phases •Flexibility on exact dates within early May is required •Fees will be agreed based on the scope of contribution
