Front Desk Office Support (Medical Office Environment)

Location: Medical Office / Healthcare Facility
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are partnering with a well-established healthcare organization to hire a outgoing, and detail-oriented Front Desk Office Support professional for a busy medical office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction and takes pride in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient healthcare experience.

As the first point of contact for patients, this position plays a vital role in patient satisfaction. You will greet patients, manage front office operations, assist with phone coverage, and support hearing care services in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients promptly and professionally upon arrival
  • Serve as the primary patient greeter, ensuring a warm and friendly first impression
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure comfort
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms between visits
  • Provide front desk administrative support, including filing and data entry
  • Accurately document patient visit outcomes in the computer system
  • Assist with front desk phone coverage and manage incoming calls
  • Support the hearing aid intake process, including:
    • Checking in hearing aids upon arrival
    • Completing required paperwork
    • Preparing hearing aids and documentation for patient pickup
  • Support overall office flow to keep the clinic running efficiently
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment required
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Clear, confident, and strong speaking voice (critical for working with hearing-impaired patients)
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced medical office
  • High level of organization, multitasking ability, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers and entering patient visit data accurately
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
