A new client of Greycoat Lumleys, a friendly family with two children aged 8 and 10, is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper/Cook to assist in the smooth running of their home. The family lives in a three-bedroom house set over two floors and is looking for someone who can confidently manage housekeeping duties while preparing simple family meals.

Duties to include:

• General housekeeping and cleaning

• Laundry and ironing

• Putting laundry away

• Loading and unloading the dishwasher

• Grocery shopping and managing Tesco deliveries

• Cooking simple family meals, including Indian dishes

• Ensuring the home is kept tidy and well organised

The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, and proactive, with previous experience in a similar role. The family is looking for someone who enjoys cooking, particularly Indian cuisine, and who can work independently while maintaining high standards throughout the home.

Nearest station: Roding Valley or Chigwell - Approximately 25 minutes' walk from the property – a driver or cyclist would be desirable

Property: 3-bedroom house over 2 floors

Working week: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday or Sunday

Working hours: 3 hours per day, flexible times

Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found

Salary: £20 – £23 gross per hour ( SE or PAYE)
