We are seeking a Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in San Marcos, Texas. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment, quality control testing and other day-to-day activities on an assigned shift.

Hours are Friday - Monday, 10:00pm - 8:00pm

** This is a Night Shift position **
** This is a temporary position for an employee out on medical leave **


Responsibilities
- Operates treatment facilities to control flow and processing of wastewater, sludge and effluent
- Observes variations in operating conditions and interpret meter and gauge readings
- Collect samples
- Maintain sample logs
- Perform other duties as required


Qualifications
- A valid Drivers License
- Basic experience in operating water / wastewater treatment plants
