Brake Press Operator

Nesco Resource is partnering with a trusted manufacturer in Bedford, OH to hire experienced Brake Press Operators for both first and second shifts. What You’ll Do:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Set up press brake machines by selecting the appropriate punches and dies

• Accurately position and align sheet metal for bending operations

• Program CNC controls, including bend angles, pressure, and back gauge settings

• Operate press brake equipment and monitor production for quality and accuracy

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met

• Identify and troubleshoot issues during the bending process

• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of press brake operating experience

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers

• Knowledge of CNC press brake controls and basic programming

• Solid math skills, including calculating angles and measurements

• Commitment to quality and attention to detail

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to pass a pre-employment screening

Shifts: 1st & 2nd
Pay: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)
